TERRY’S JOURNEY TO CF LAND: Navigating the Adventures of Cystic Fibrosis is a children’s story and coloring book about Terry Gene Wright’s personal journey and amazing adventures to the land of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and helps children on a journey with someone else who has CF.
This illustrated story and coloring book depicts Terry’s journey as an African-American male who was not diagnosed with cystic fibrosis until the age of 54. He is now 62 but like so many children with cystic fibrosis, he has had his share of seeing lots of doctors and receiving a lot of medicine and care.
So often, children with cystic fibrosis experience many emotions, especially when hospitalized. This is also difficult for the parents, guardians, or caretakers who are concerned and worried about their loved ones in a health care setting. They want to be sure that their children are receiving the best care, support, and resources in their journey to CF land.
