We are thrilled to present the CF Star award for 2020 to Terry Wright!
Terry was diagnosed with CF at the age of 54. Since then, he and his wife, Dr. Michele Wright, have made it their mission to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis. This passion led them to found the National Organization of African Americans with Cystic Fibrosis (NOAACF) to engage, educate, and raise CF awareness in the Black community. In 2020, Terry was the recipient of a CFF Impact Grant, published a children’s book “Terry’s Journey into CF Land, was a keynote speaker at the 2020 CFF BreatheCon, served as a panelist at NACFC, and received multiple awards and recognitions from various organizations. Terry is an inspiration and we look forward to what he will accomplish for his fellow CF fighters in the days ahead!
Way to go Terry Wright and kudos to all of the esteemed Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Arkansas Chapter 2020 Award Winners!
